Hello.  I go by the name of Louis Deschain. I am just a guy that has always had dreams of creating music and writing, but a life long plague of overthinking and negative self-criticism has left me in a stagnant state of inactivity on my creative efforts. This place I am building is my attempt to overcome my afflictions and share some of the steps I have taken on my voyage, as well as continue that mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. This is what I call ‘Voyage of the Mind” and updates will be posted in the section under that same title.

     Another main quest I will undertake within this blog is short-term creative projects that I will work on, give updates about, and release as I go along. This is an attempt to hold myself accountable for the short term goals I set and not get to stuck in the process of overthinking. These updates will be found in the “Harmonic Balance” section of the blog.
